About the project
Cranchi shipyard's story dates back to 1870, when the first boats created were moving between the beautiful villas of Lake Como. From the last few centuries, countless steps forward have been taken to the most recent use of advanced construction technologies, which allow technologically-perfect yachts take shape. Cranchi has two factories in Lombardy, close to Lake Como: according to Industry 4.0 principles, skilled technicians cooperate with robots in a rigorous process, every stage of which is planned and verified. Before proceeding with the construction of each individual yacht, customer needs are carefully listened by Cranchi shipyard, in order to design exclusive and custom-made yachts.For disseminating Cranchi know-how in the world, internationalisation is the right choice: in fact, Boot Düsseldorf is one of the world's leading events, the most extensive and visited show, totally indoor, for boats and luxury yachts. The Boot is also open to occasional visitors during the event weekend, since it includes not only boats but maritime tourism, water sports, rafts, boating accessories and much more. Honegger, as exclusive representative for Italy for Messe Düsseldorf, has been following for years the Italian participation in the fair, ideating and realising the exhibition spaces for some companies and shipyards, including Cranchi.
