About the project
The Gerardo Cesari company was founded in 1936 and soon became synonymous worldwide with wines from the Verona area. Franco Cesari, son of the founder Gerardo, helped spreading the Amarone Cesari throughout the world, one of the best red wines in Italy and internationally. Today, Gerardo Cesari sets itself further targets: to respond to the market by producing unique, elegant, fine, balanced wines, drawing on tradition but using the latest knowledge in vineyard cultivation, using environmentally sustainable growing techniques and offering consumers the guarantees of a certified wine-making process.Gerardo Cesari has been taking part in ProWein in Düsseldorf, the world's leading event for wine industry, for many years. Professionals meet annually at the event in Germany to discuss the main innovations offered by the world of wine, liqueurs and spirits. Honegger, as exclusive representative for Italy for Messe Düsseldorf, helps Italian companies that annually wish to participate in ProWein, ideating and realising the exhibition spaces for some companies, including Gerardo Cesari.
