About the project
For over forty years Omega scales have been serving the retails aiming to increase their business volume. The company was founded as a scale factory in 1928 in the province of Varese, Gallarate, under the name of "Giuseppe Ambrosetti". In 1955 it changed its name to "Omega scales", specializing in the production of weighing instruments, professional slicers and high-end electro-mechanical systems. Subsequently, the company expanded by equipping itself with new technologies, then entering the international market and obtaining the certifications to be able to sell in Germany, United States, Canada. After being purchased in 2006 by Ditron, Omega scales continues to be present on the world market in a competitive way.
Strengthened by this internationality, Omega scales took part in the last edition of EuroShop, a triennial event organized by Messe Düsseldorf and promoted in Italy by Honegger, exclusive representative for the national territory. In addition to the promotion of the event Honegger, with its Exhibition Design department, has created the 95 square meters exhibition space for Omega scales. With over 94,000 visitors, EuroShop was confirmed in 2020 as the world's leading trade fair for the retail sector, also thanks to the practical division of the event into eight major macro areas: Shop Fitting & Store Design, Visual Merchandising, Lighting, Retail Marketing, Retail Technology, Expo & Event Marketing, Food Service Equipment and Refrigeration & Energy Management.
